Large Antique Repousse Quadrupleplate Centerpiece Bowl

Wow!!!  Showstopper!  One of a kind, large and dramatic, antique quadruple-plate centerpiece bowl.  It features elaborately decorated handles and edges, made by the special repousse technique in which an artisan hammered the design from the back. This piece has the very special glossy silver look that only quadroupleplate silver plate has!  Notice the overall scalloped shape and the scalloped interior of the heavy, deep bowl.  Top notch craftsmanship, by American Silverplate Co. which was a trademark of Simpson, Hall & Miller,  first used in 1894. 

 It is 13" x 9.25" x 3.5" tall. Excellent antique condition.
