
This is an amazing antique silver plate, Victorian style centerpiece or large compote. It was made by the very famous Barker Ellis silversmiths in England, in the early 20th Century, c. 1930. It is of the highest quality craftsmanship with a dramatic shape on a pedestal base. Note the very unusual reticulated rondelle and ribbon edge with the beaded rim and base. The interior bowl has engraved shells, flowers and vines! What a fantastic stand alone centerpiece but imagine it filled with flowers on your table or sideboard! 6 x 10. 75 Excellent condition.
