Handmade & Signed Mahogany End Table

This is an absolutely exquisite piece! You wouldn’t believe how excited I was when I found the signature of a very famous Chester County woodworker carved into the bottom along with the original receipt of sale! This tea table is being used as an end table in the photo and it is just perfect with its hand carved details and detailed edge. It was handmade by Robert Treate Hogg in 1968. Robert Treate Hogg was the cabinetmaker chosen to create the reproductions for the “Signing of the Declaration” room of Independence Hall and other historic museums. Though Hogg is deceased, his shop continues. His pieces are listed on websites like Chairish and First Dibs for much more! This table is 26” h x 29” w x 18”d
