This antique Victorian beauty is majestic! At 12" tall it is a definite statement piece. It was an heirloom for one family and will continue in yours. It was made by the Meriden Britannia Co. which made silver plate in England from about 1820- 1880. This piece has a mark of 1868. Lovely Victorian engravings and details add to its beauty. There is a porcelain lining. Not sure how safe it is to use for everyday since it is so old. There are a few minor indentations and dings, as well as tarnish marks but it was kept safe and polished for all of these years. It's width is 9" at it's widest.
