Check out this photo from Victoria Magazine! It looks like the antique silver plate square basket that is for sale at Raspberry and Royal Home! Although where did they get that square doily? Here is a fabulous one of a kind antique piece. This square basket sits on an elevated base which is heavily detailed with beaded edge and claw feet. The scalloped top trim is designed to highlight rose bud medallions. The central area is an outstanding deep repousse (hammered from the back) design featuring aquatic lilly pads! I've never seen anything like it. The moveable handle is a rope design with a knot at top. This spectacular piece was made in the late 1800's and is marked Wilcox silver, Quadruple plate, Meridan Connecticut. 8.75" square, with handles it is 9.5" wide. With handle up it is 9" tall. Excellent quality and condition, original matte silver finish. ⁠
