1930's Set of Lemon Squeezers

Such clever little pieces for your tea table, with a design dating back to 1932! These four vintage Citro lemon squeezers bear patent number 155083, documented in a Swiss patent published that year for F. Ritter & Sohn.

Each hinged press holds a small slice of lemon, allowing you to squeeze fresh juice into your cup while leaving room for the peel. It was specifically designed to press the fruit without crushing the rind and releasing its bitter flavors. Such a thoughtful little invention!
