Antique Biscuit Barrel Made in England by Barker Ellis

 This gorgeous antique silver plate cookie canister or Biscuit Barrel (as the British would say) was made in England by one of my favorite brands, the very famous, Barker Ellis.  Barker Ellis began as the Barker Brothers and was originally founded in Birmingham, England in 1801. The elegant etchings surround this entire barrel, and a hinged lid sits atop. 7" x 7" excellent antique condition, silverplate. I think a biscuit barrel is a must-have for every collector!
