Antique Covered Dish: My perfect Miniature Christmas Tree Holder

When I saw this Antique covered dish, marked quadroupleplate, I knew this would be the perfect miniature Christmas holder! This sits on four acanthus leave feet and has the the most beautiful little delicate handles. I love how the collar of this dish has all of these alternating flowers circled around. It is 6" t x 10" wide. The opening you could put a miniature Christmas tree in is about 6" wide x 4.5" tall. It is quadroupleplate, an indication it is a victorian piece, and has four coats of sterling on it. Please see the photos as there is wear on the inside as well as some types of discoloration that I was unable to polish out around the outside of the piece. Despite its imperfections, I wanted to include it in the sale because it is so darling for a plant or a little tree.
