Antique Gorham Swing Teapot on Stand with Orginal Oil Burner

Such a beautiful and special antique piece! This silverplate teapot was made by Gorham in 1919 and sits on its original swing stand. Even better, it still has its original oil burner, which is especially desirable and makes this a wonderful complete antique set. So often these little burners have been separated from their teapots over the years!

Gorham is one of the most well-known and highly sought-after American silver makers. This piece is marked with Gorham’s anchor symbol as well as its 1919 date mark. Gorham is especially fun to collect because it is one of the few makers whose pieces can often be dated to an exact year! From 1885–1933, Gorham used a different pictorial date mark for each year.

There is some wear to the silverplating, please review the photos as they are part of the description, but otherwise it is in excellent antique condition. A really wonderful old Gorham piece that is just as beautiful displayed as it is interesting to collect.
