Petite Antique English Sheffield Plate Champagne Bucket (c. 1890–1915)

Here is a fantastic petite champagne bucket, and these smaller-scale examples are always a favorite to find. This is an antique silver-on-copper piece made in proper English Sheffield plate, dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, approximately 1890–1915.

What really sets this one apart are the two lion’s head ring handles, a classic English motif that adds character without overwhelming the form. There is some light wear and tarnish consistent with age, but overall it remains in excellent antique condition. It measures approximately 7.5″ tall by 7.5″ wide and is a wonderful example of quality English silver craftsmanship in a less common size.
