Antique Silver on Copper Sugar Scuttle with Scoop

This antique sugar scuttle is such a beautiful and special piece. It has the classic form with a curved body, domed lid, and wide open front, all raised on a pedestal base. It still includes the original scoop, which is always a great detail to have.

It measures 5.5” wide.

Marked as silver on copper, which is a higher quality form of silverplate. This means a layer of silver was applied over a solid copper base, giving it a warmer tone, more durability, and a nicer overall feel.

It is in excellent antique condition with only minimal wear.

A wonderful piece for sugar, but also very nice for display—these are getting harder to find, especially with the scoop still included.
