Magnificent Early 1800s Silverplate Hot Water Urn – Ornate Design with Original Burner

Wow! This is a gorgeous urn. They really don't come any prettier, and they certaily don't make them like this anymore! In olden times, an drink dispenser like this would sit proudly on a buffet and dispense hot water to accompany your tea service. Circa early 1800's, This is piece stands tall and elegant with its double handles and detailed body. Regal wide stripes highlight it's sternumn and the details continue down to the legs with swirls, flourishes, and ornate beading. The spout has a handle of some type of natural material that is pulled down to release the drink. This has it's original spirits burner which fits securely into the base. An elegant lid sits atop with the daintiest little finial! Silverplate in excellent antique condition. 18" tall.
