Victorian Butter Dish by Barbour Silver
Victorian Butter Dish by Barbour Silver
I love this enchanting antique etched butter dish. Crafted by the Barbour Silver Company, during the late 1800's to early 1900's. Barbour Silver Co was founded in in Hartford, CT in 1892. The standout feature is its ornate etchings, lavishly adorned with blooming flowers and delicate vines. It has three pieces, including its original insert on which butter would sit. It is quadroupleplate which means the metal base is coated in 4 coats of silver. Good antique condition which some wear to the silver that you can see in the photos. 8" x 4.5" x 4" tall.
