Made in 1889 Gorham Butter Dome

This piece has a unique mark on the back that dates it exactly to 1889! Made by Gorham Silver, it is a fabulous, high quality butter dome! The fluted detail on the dome little are so aesthetically pleasing and the style is even carried on to the 3 ball feet. Details like this only seem to be found in antiques! It still includes its original pierced insert for the butter to sit on. Light engraving of "ERR '90" on the lid. High quality silver on copper 7" wide x 4" tall.
