Lovely Domed Dishes

These vintage silverplate butter domes are such classic pieces to have on hand. Traditionally used for serving butter or cheese, they still work beautifully for that purpose today—or simply styled into a pretty table setting.

Left Dome — Oneida

This lovely vintage silverplate butter dome was made by Oneida and measures 7" wide. It has very pretty detailing along the rim of the plate and an ornate finial on top. It is in excellent vintage condition and presents beautifully.

Right Dome

This vintage silverplate butter dome has a simple, clean round form with a fitted domed lid and a nicely detailed finial on top. It has a couple of marks on the underside, as pictured, but is otherwise in very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with use. The exterior presents very nicely.

Both are versatile pieces that work just as well for serving as they do styled on a table, sideboard, or open shelf.
