Exceptional Victorian Epergne With Fairy & Baby Figure

Wow — this Victorian epergne is truly something special! The Victorians adored these dramatic centerpieces, using them to display fruit, sweets, and fresh flowers, and this one is just extraordinary. It has such presence and charm — the kind of piece that immediately becomes the centerpiece of a room, not just a table.

At the base, you'll find the most enchanting detail — a delicate fairy holding a baby fairy! Two graceful arms extend outward with places to hold your sweets or little treasures, and rising above is the tall center vase adorned with wonderful natural motifs. 

Large and very substantial at approximately 20" x 20", this beauty is silverplated with some worn areas where what I believe to be bronze is showing through so note that it has a bronze tone to the silver. It really has a lovely glow to it.

Truly a show-stopper. I have never come across another like it!
