Trumpet Epergne-Style Centerpiece

Absolutely fantastic! This is such a cool shape, with so much intricate detail to take in. Standing 14.5” tall, it has a pedestal base supporting a raised bowl with beautifully pierced, fluted edges. A trumpet-shaped vase rises from the center, with more fluting that makes the whole piece especially striking.

I would describe this as an epergne-style centerpiece. I love the idea of arranging a few tall stems in the trumpet and letting the wonderful pierced details remain visible below. It would make such a statement on a dining table or sideboard!

Possibly antique or mid-century with an elaborate design that recalls earlier ornamental table centerpieces.

There is wear to the silverplating. Please review the photos closely for condition and all of those interesting details. A wonderfully unusual piece!

Measures 14.5” tall.
