Three-Piece Hammered Set — Derby & Meriden

What a lovely trio! This three-piece set includes a sugar bowl and creamer by Derby Silver Plate Company, along with a coordinating gravy boat by Meriden Silver Plate Company.

The sugar bowl and creamer are marked “Hand Beaten” and “W.M. Mounts,” meaning white metal mounts—a reference to their construction. Derby was founded in Connecticut in 1872, while Meriden Silver Plate Company was established in 1869.

Likely dating to the early 20th century, these pieces make a beautiful grouping for your table or silver collection. They would also be lovely holding small flower arrangements!

There is some wear to the silverplating and tarnish. Please review the photos carefully for condition.

Sold together as a set of three: sugar bowl, creamer, and gravy boat. Tray not included.
