Glossy Antique Box | Possibly Old Sheffield Plate | 4.25” Tall

This little box is so beautiful in person. The silver is almost like a mirror—gorgeously glossy—and when you catch it in the right light, that soft copper glow peeks through in just the prettiest way. I’m estimating it’s between 175–200 years old, possibly Old Sheffield Plate based on the construction and wear. 

The lid is topped with a sweet little finial ball handle, and while the hinge no longer works, it lifts on and off cleanly and fits snugly. It’s a wonderful piece for layering into a vignette or placing somewhere special where it can shine on its own.

Measures approximately 4.25” tall, 2.75” wide, and 2.25” deep. A true little treasure.
