Tremendous Antique Quadrupleplate Pedestal Bowl

This is a gorgeous and unique centerpiece pedestal bowl with outstanding details.  The bowl is most likely hand chased with a lovely pattern of flowers and vines.  The applied trim to the top edge is detailed swags and acanthus leaves toped by a tiny ball and dart trim.  The classic pedestal base is trimmed on the bottom with an equally intricate pattern of flowers and garlands.  The flowers form small feet to elevate the piece slightly.  This is a work of art.   It is marked quadroupleplate "special metal", which means it is covered with four thin layers of silver.   There's another mark but I wasn't able to make it out, but it is probably from the mid to late 1800's.   9" x 8.5" x 6.5" tall. In excellent antique condition.
