Fabulous and Rare Antique English Tray with Rolled Handles

Very impressive heavy silver plate deep tray with very unique shape.  Made by Barker Brothers which was a premier name in Silver history. It started in 1801 in Birmingham, England and eventually became Barker Ellis in 1912. This very large and beautiful silver plate tray was made in the early 1900's, Victorian era. Note the rope trim which then rolls with the top edge over a column to form a large handle.  A large leaf is then applied to fold over the handle.  Fantastic antique specimen!  Some surface scratches from use on the bottom surface.
