Barker Brothers was a premier name in Silver history. It started in 1801 in Birmingham, England and eventually became Barker Ellis in 1912. This beautiful silver plate tray was made in the early 1900's, Victorian era. It has a lovely chased interior design with an intricately pierced and reticulated scalloped sides which includes handles. It sits on four bun feet. Fantastic antique specimen! 18" x 12.5" Excellent condition except for a little copper showing through on base of the tray (see photos).
