Awesome Antique Quadrupleplate Meriden Water Dispenser

Stunning show stopper! This gorgeous piece was made in the mid to late 1800's by the famous American Silver Company, Meridan, from Taunton Massachusetts.  Used by wealthy families, this water holder would be front and center on the huntboard to provide hot water for tea or other drinks.  It was beautifully made and boasts the original warmer and original "natural" material spigot!  It dramatically stands on 4  tall legs.  The handles are pronounced and extend taller than the water dispenser itself.  What a conversation piece and can be used in any vignette where a tall piece is often needed. Marked Quadrupleplate which means it was covered in 4 layers of silver.   Excellent antique condition.  15 x 11 x 10.
