Pierced Pedestal

This is a vintage Sheffield reproduction pedestal made of silver on copper, with many of the design details you usually see on much earlier pieces. The edge has beautiful open piercing, which immediately gives it that antique look, and the bowl itself has a delicate etched design that catches the light nicely. Around the rim there is a wonderful applied grapevine motif, with grapes and leaves winding along the edge. It stands 4.5 inches tall, with a nice low profile that makes it especially easy to use for display.m. It is in very good vintage condition with a little tarnish.
