Set of 5 Mint Julep Cups

Mint Julep cups are not just classic and beautiful pieces to have in your collection, they are a symbol of Southern hospitality. During a trip to the home of the Kentucky Derby, I had my first mint julep at the famed Brown Hotel and learned to hold onto your cup either at the band at the top or the base at the bottom so as not to interrupt the icy condensation on the outside of your cup. Now, I love to use mine to put little flower arrangements in. Either on their own or in a grouping. These cups measure 4.75" tall and I really like these because they are very heavy little cups. Note the beaded trip around the base and the top. They are in good vintage condition with a little silverplate loss on the inside of the cups.
