Antique Syruper

This beautiful antique syruper is something I haven't found in several years!

Originally used for serving syrup at the breakfast table, these servers were a staple in well-appointed homes during the late 1800s and early 1900s. 

The body is decorated with engraved aesthetic-style motifs including birds, flowers, and geometric details that give it wonderful visual interest. The hinged lid opens smoothly, and the attached underplate helps protect table linens from drips while creating an elegant presentation.

Excellent condition inside and out. It was very difficult to get an accurate photo of the inside, but I personally wouldn’t hesitate to use it. There doesn’t appear to  be any tarnish but there are a couple of marks/stains otherwise it appears as a dull silver overall. 6" tall.
