Complete 5-Piece Heirloom Melon Tea Set

This is such a beautiful and complete tea and coffee service in the classic melon pattern. The set includes a teapot and coffee pot, both with carved wooden handles, along with the matching sugar bowl and creamer. Each piece is finished with those wonderful melon-form finials resting on little leaves, and they all sit up on ornate paw feet which gives the whole set such a nice presence.

The tray is especially special—original to the set, large, substantial, and with a really lovely etched design that makes it feel like a true centerpiece. It’s one of those sets that instantly pulls a table together.

This is a silverplated set in very good vintage condition. There is some natural aging to the finish, including a bit of haziness/tarnish to the silverplate in areas which may or may not polish off, but it is still fabulously shiny and beautiful.

This set is sold with the tray but the tray will most likely ship in a separate box from the tea set. Tray is 32" long.
