Pair of Antique English Serving Spoons — James Dixon & Sons

I love having beautiful serving pieces on hand, and these two English silverplated spoons would work with just about any table setting! They have generous oval bowls and simple, rounded handles that mix so nicely with more ornate antique silver.

Attributed to James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, these spoons likely date to the late 1800s or early 1900s. Established in 1806, Dixon became an important English maker of silver and silverplated tableware, producing everything from spoons and forks to elaborate tea services.
