Antique Meriden Silverplate Handled Tray

Such a pretty and useful little tray! I love its elongated shape, lovely detailed border, and cutout handles at either end. Measuring 11” by 5.5”, it’s a wonderful size for holding a candle, gathering your hand soap and lotion, or keeping little essentials together on a vanity.

Made by Meriden Silverplate Company, which was founded in Meriden, Connecticut, in 1869 and became part of International Silver Company in 1898. The International Silver name places this piece after 1898, with its design suggesting an early 20th-century date.

There is wear to the silver plating, along with light surface scratches Please review the photos carefully for condition. A lovely piece of American silverplate to collect and put to use.
