Vintage Basket with Grape Motif

This is a really lovely vintage Godinger basket that has been so well cared for, coming from an estate in Wayne, Pennsylvania. It has a beautiful grapevine motif with detailed leaves and clusters of grapes, finished with a soft wash of gold plating that adds just the right amount of contrast against the silverplate. It’s on the larger side, which makes it especially useful and noticeable on a table or sideboard. A really pretty piece with a classic look that always feels right in a home. Measures 15" x 9" tall.
