Vintage Silverplate Preserve Jar with Cobalt Blue Glass Liner

This vintage preserve jar is such a pretty little serving piece! It has a rich cobalt blue glass liner set inside a silverplated holder with a wonderful pierced design. The fitted lid is topped with a ball finial and has an opening for a serving spoon.

Pieces like this were traditionally used for jam or marmalade, but it would also be lovely for serving honey or sugar at a breakfast table, brunch, or coffee station.

It is marked “Soppil” on the bottom and is in very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.
