Vintage Revere Bowl

This silver plate Revere bowl is such a classic piece to have on hand. The simple, clean lines are based on the original colonial form made famous by Paul Revere (yes, "the British are coming" - that's the one!), with a wide open bowl and a nicely proportioned pedestal base.

It measures 8” wide, making it a very usable size for serving or for a centerpiece.

Marked S.L. & G.H. Rogers by Oneida on the underside, a well-known American maker of silverplate. The finish is bright and reflective, and it presents very nicely.

It is in very good vintage condition with some light surface scratches consistent with use. A solid, versatile piece that works just as well on a table as it does styled into a collection.
