Vintage Silver Plate Butter Dome / Cheese Dish with Lid

This vintage silver plate butter dome is such a classic piece to have on hand. It features a simple, clean round form with a fitted domed lid and a nicely detailed finial on top.

Pieces like this were traditionally used for butter or cheese, keeping it covered while serving, and they still work beautifully for that today.
